Proposed Parking Restrictions in Westcott Street
The Village Association has been made aware that some time in the last 18 months a resident of Westcott approached the County Highways Department directly to propose parking restrictions in Westcott Street between Kingscote and No 1 The Old Baracks on the west side of the road, and between Highbury and No 1 Spring Cottages on the east side. Any resident can approach the Council in this way without reference to the Village Association or to the County Councillor.

The County Highways Department is now seeking comments from residents as part of its statutory obligation to consult. The Village Association strongly recommends that you write to the Highways team with your comments in support of, objecting to, or modifying (restricting) the proposed changes by either:-
· Completing the online form at the above site, or
· Write, quoting ‘Mole Valley parking review 2018’ to: Parking Team, Hazel House, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford, GU4 7BQ
