The WVA were invited to attend the Surrey Hills Highways Working Group meeting in January where various proposals were discussed to reduce speeding and generally calm the traffic on the A25 from Dorking to Guildford. Various options are being considered including reducing the speed limit through Westcott to 20mph, introducing more vehicle activated signs to reinforce the speed limit and changing, or in certain places removing, road markings as this has proved successful in other rural areas.
